We have been using Knot DNS server for approximately five years – since 2017. The primary purpose of its choice was to support the automatic DNSSEC signing and dynamic synthesis of records. Knot DNS significantly reduces the complexity of zone signing and key rollover. In addition, it is an open source software. The quality of this software is very good, it is rock-stable and prebuilt binary packages for main Linux distributions are very appreciated.
